I bought a PS3 recently, against the advice of all my peers because I like Sony and PS3 has less chance of failing that a 360. I work at Game-Stop So I was able to Borrow a copy of Assassin's Creed.... It kicked Ass! I'm the type of guy who will play a game no matter how crappy it is if it has a good story (as evidence by Xenosaga 2, I don't what the hell I was thinking with that turd). Assassin's Creed starts off slow and then like a starship drifting too closely to the event horizon of a black hole the story just sucks you in and I found myself compelled to keep playing despite Several hours had passed, all in the hope of being rewarded with another cut-scene in exchange the stealth assassination of an evildoer. The gameplay is pretty good though it can be frustrating at times, like when you try to do a timed assassination and Guards keep showing up to F*** up your progress, but ultimately the whole is greater than the sum of it's flaws. It's a great game and can be finished in a few days of hardcore playing, like around 3 days.
